Introduction, Recommendations and Barrier Free Functions
‘Cafe LEAF Ⅱ’ opened at 3 Chome, Mnami Nakadori, on the 7th of January 2019 as the second branch of ‘Cafe Leaf’. Both cafes share the mutual concept.
They’re particular about organic foods and additive-free foods, and they aim to get their customers to be healthy through eating.
It’s a cafe in a fashionable neighbourhood, and they hope to make it a place where people exchange information as a platform of health administration to improve presymptomatic disease in the shopping district, and where the disabled are accepted in the normal manner; those are the cafe’s targets.
For management, after the service administration manager has transfered from an employment continuation support A type office ‘Ru Ru Shonan’, they’re enjoying a fulfilling support system. They currently have five full time staff members, and about ten disabled temp. staff members from the A type office.
The way the tables and chairs in the cafe are placed, and the room for customers to move about are made spaciously. Just to the left after you enter the cafe, there’s a place where wheelchair users can be easily seated at the table. They led me there when I visited the cafe for the interview. It was easy to move about after I got in.
