Introduction, Recommendations and Barrier Free Functions

‘Ando Mofuku Invention Memorial’ , or, Cup Noodle Museum, is an experience oriented museum to inspire each child’s creativity and inquisitiveness and nurture them. There are two museums with the same name here in Yokohama, formerly called Ando Mofuku Invention Memorial, and in Umeda, Osaka, formerly called Instant Ramen Invention Memorial, whose names were standardised in September 2017.
Wheelchair uses use the elevator to get into the building without passing the gate.
Among the many exhibitions and attractions, the food attraction, where you can taste a variety of ‘noodles’ from all around the world that Ando Mofuku encountered while he was travelling on the ‘Noodle Road’ in search of the roots of noodles, is a lot of fun.
Lots of foreign travellers, particularly from Asia, visit the museum.
The accessible toilets are under the large staircase in the entrance hall on the first floor and next to the male and female lavatories on the fourth floor, equipped with a baby seat and baby chair for infants. There’s another room under the large staircase in the entrance hall on the first floor where breastfeeding and changing of nappies can be done.
