Introduction, Recommendations and Barrier Free Functions
First opened in 1955, It is an old Shanghai restaurant that’s been run by a family for three generations.
When they went through a renovation due to the restaurant building ageing six years ago, they also made it barrier-free. The General Manager said ‘Previously, we had to move tables and chairs when we got wheelchair user customers, but now we are able to let them in right away, and the customers are happy about it, as well.’
There’s a gap of 5 centimetres from the street to the pavement, but there’s no gap from the pavement to the entrance to the restaurant. The spacious restaurant floor will also allow wheelchair users to move about comfortably.
The elevator is right near the entrance, whose door opens up to 80 centimetres, so you won’t have to travel much in the restaurant.
The accessible toilet is located on the third floor in the function room. The diners on the first floor are also encouraged to use it.
Guide dogs are accepted in the restaurant.
