This is a branch restaurant of a popular seafood restaurant-bar ‘Maruu Shoten’ in Takashima. They pay close attention to the ingredients whose conditions depend on how many fish were caught and brought in to the fish market and on the weather, and try every day to give the best fish dishes possible in the Miura Peninsula.
You can enjoy their signature item ‘Dossari Mori’, lit. Extra Large Piling, and many other daily specials on the menu.
Their vegetables directly come from the farms.
The fresh local vegetables come from their intimate farmers in Miura/Yokosuka with love every day.
They have some local sake from Kanagawa, as well as selections of party courses they boast to offer.
It was just after ‘Saruhime’, soft and crispy seaweed that’s rich in aroma, came out when we visited it for investigation, and we enjoyed eating some fresh one.
If you want to use an accessible toilet, Nigiwai-za theatre, 6 to 7 minutes’ walk towards Sakuragi-cho, is recommended, though it closes at 22:00.
