Introduction, Recommendations and Barrier Free Functions
This is a 68 year-old soba restaurant in Isezaki-cho.
Their signature item is their own ‘Sugomori’, which is fried soba topped with loads of ingredients in thick, starchy sauce. Togakushi Set, which comes with rice, tempura, nameko mushroom soba, tororo soba, or, soba with grated yam, and pickles, is also recommended.
The restaurant manager and the staff are nice and friendly, so you can enjoy your meal in the comfort of a cosy atmosphere.
When we visited for investigation, they rearranged the tables and made it easy for us to go in through the automatic door.
Their answer to ‘Accepts guide dogs’ was not applicable during the interview, saying ‘We’re not familiar with assistance dogs, like guide dogs, so we won’t be able to explain the situation to the other customers well’, but they gave us a phone call the following day and said ‘We gave it a second thought, and we really want everyone to come over, so we’re going to change the answer to YES.’ We appreciated the fact that they seriously thought about it.
